The edgy modern take on the traditional story needed the perfect platform to launch the EPIC trailer in NZ. Through the magic of film, we were able to get a Chris Hemsworth TV spot addressing the loyal Shortland St Fans with a “Hello Shorty St fans” message asking viewers to watch out for the trailer in the next ad break.

A spot of Kristin Stewart introducing the trailer then ran in the next ad break with a Twitter call to action at the end of the TVC. The result? A huge amount of “buzz” after the 2 spots ran on Twitter generating the excitement and hype which we knew the trailer would deliver.
